Being in the trades isn’t an easy task. It is most certainly a road less travelled by, and yet there does exist a certain individuality about it.

And individuality is without a doubt a trait I would use to describe Strong Group. Very rarely in our industry does one run into a contractor with as much character and integrity as they possess. A realization that dawned on me some time ago as a first-year apprentice, with no knowledge of who anyone was.

And then I was informed one afternoon that the man whom I had been working beside for weeks and who had treated me with respect and direction, was none other than the owner of the entire company.

And its examples like that which demonstrably set Strong Group apart from the competition. Strong Group Inc. has been building Ground-up and Remodel projects for Lupe Tortilla for the last 4 years and has become not only our most valued General Contractor but what I would consider a strategic partner in the success of getting our restaurants open on time and within or under budget. Strong Group has also been extremely successful in helping us find ways to value engineer and implement options to keep projects active that were close to being cancelled.

The team at Strong Group is above the standard. Their values of Transparent Communication, Purposeful Planers and Master of Change and Challenges, are just a few of the reasons they are so successful. From the bidding stages to completion, nothing is ever hidden. Their communications through email and the Smartsheet program gives us a daily picture of what the project looks like and every item they are working on to keep the project in motion. Their weekly meetings and 3 week look-ahead planner is constantly keeping us focused on what we need to have ready and delivered as owners. But most important, in the uncertain times of construction we are in today with the unforeseen changes and challenges that arises in every project, Strong Group is above reproach in every way and always help us remain on track by offering ideas to keep us building.

Lupe Tortilla restaurants are a very detailed and complex build. As with any projects, there are many issues that need to be addressed during the construction process. Whether its drawing conflicts, locating unexpected items during a demo, city issues, material shortages or even owner delays, in each case Strong Group is always professional, helpful, and reasonable in their handling of the issue. Their full time Superintends, and Project Managers are of the highest quality and some of the best I have worked with in the past 20 years.

To sum this up, I highly recommend Strong Group Inc. for any size project that you are looking to hire one of the best GC partners possible, they will definitely be on future projects of ours.

you and your entire Team for all the support you have continued to provide to Alameda Juice, dba Jamba Juice.

Over the past 10 plus years, your company has been instrumental in helping our company in so many areas. From the new store planning, building, and problem solving. We have grown from one Jamba Juice store to recently opening our 50th store.

We could always count on your Team to do the right thing. If we have any issues months/years after a store is built… your Team is always very responsive to our needs. The service we have received from you can only be described as Full service.

One of the things I have appreciated about your company is, I have never once felt we were being taken advantage of financially. You have always provided your knowledge and services for a very fair price. You always prepare each project with a detailed account of the costs, and you managed to them. I have never been concerned about being hit with last minute change orders or construction surprises.

While I have always been very impressed with the quality of work you have done for us, I think your finest quality comes from your people. I started working with Strong Group when we hired them to complete the remodel of the Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe in Mesquite, Texas in 2005 as well as the remodel of the Razzoo’s in Fort Worth, Texas that same year.

In 2006, Strong Group remodeled the Bone Daddy’s location in Dallas, Texas and built the new Bone Daddy’s in Grapevine, Texas. I’ve been working with Chris Scarborough and Mike Anderson ever since.

I was immediately impressed by the quality of their work and their attention to detail. Mike, Chris and the members of their team are terrific when it comes to resolving issues as they arise and are always in communication with me and my team as the projects progress. The people at Strong Group work with my architects and designers to find ways to bring down the cost of each project without sacrificing the look of the finished product.

There have been many times over the past 16 years when we’ve had issues in our restaurants that need immediate attention, from storm damage to fires, and Strong Group is at the top of the list of the people we trust to move quickly to handle our issues.
